Suburban

1992 – 1999

The GMC Suburban was GMC's full-size, extended-length SUV, sharing its long-wheelbase body-on-frame platform with the Chevrolet Suburban for decades. It offered three rows of seating, large towing capacity, and a range of V8 gasoline and diesel engines with rear- or four-wheel drive. In 2000 GMC's version was renamed the Yukon XL, continuing the same job of carrying large families and heavy loads. It carried one of the longest-running names in the industry and was among GMC's largest SUVs.
