STORY
Introduced in 2017, the D90 was Maxus's first SUV and the brand's attempt to move upmarket from its LDV-derived van roots. It uses a body-on-frame chassis closely related to the T60 pickup, with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol or turbo diesel engine, part-time four-wheel drive and a low-range transfer case. Sold as the LDV D90 in Australia and New Zealand, it was pitched as a value alternative to established large SUVs.
