The EC6 Gen2 100 kWh is a five-seat, five-door electric SUV of the second generation, sold from 2023. Two electric motors make 490 PS and 700 Nm and drive all four wheels through a single-speed transmission. It sprints from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and tops out at 200 km/h.

STORY

The EC6 is Nio's coupe-SUV, launched in December 2019 (deliveries from September 2020) as a sportier, fastback-roofline sibling to the ES6. Built on Nio's battery-swap platform, it shares dual-motor powertrains and swappable battery packs (initially 70 kWh, later up to 100 kWh) compatible with Nio's Power Swap network. A fully redesigned second-generation EC6 arrived in 2023 on the NT2.0 platform with lidar-based Nio Aquila autonomous-driving hardware.
