The Vista Ardeo was the wagon version of the fourth-generation Vista, the V50, introduced in 1998 when the Vista became a Japan-only car on its own platform and separated from the Camry. Engines were the 1.8-litre 1ZZ-FE, the 2.0-litre 3S-FE with four-wheel drive, and direct-injection 2.0-litre D-4 units: first the 3S-FSE, then the 1AZ-FSE. It was sold through Toyota Vista Store dealers. The Vista line ended in 2003, when the Avensis replaced it.
Wagon version of the V50 Vista, sold only in Japan from 1998 to 2003. It offered front-drive and four-wheel-drive layouts with 1.8 and 2.0-litre petrol engines, including direct-injection D-4 units, and was sold through Toyota Vista Store dealers.
