A colour-changing sedan that talks back
BMW presented the i Vision Dee at CES 2023 as a study in digital emotion, its name short for Digital Emotional Experience. The E Ink body is split into 240 individually controlled segments that can display up to 32 colours and custom patterns on demand. Inside, an evolution of the head-up display projects information across the full width of the windscreen, and the grille and headlights form a face with several expressions.
