Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport L'Or Blanc

The world's first car finished with porcelain

Unveiled in 2011 at the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (KPM) in Berlin, the Veyron Grand Sport 'L'Or Blanc' was the world's first automobile to incorporate porcelain. Twelve hand-finished porcelain elements form the wheel-centre and 'EB' badges, the fuel and oil caps and interior inlays, set against a blue-and-white body whose flowing lines were masked and painted by hand over roughly three weeks. This single Grand Sport, powered by the 8.0-litre W16, was reportedly sold to a collector in the UAE.
