An urban-industrial small crossover for young professionals
The Granite concept, shown at the 2010 Detroit auto show, was GMC's idea of an "urban utility vehicle" - a compact crossover aimed at young urbanites. Riding on a Cobalt-length wheelbase, it paired a boxy, industrial exterior with a flexible interior whose seats folded inward to create a long cargo channel. Power came from a turbocharged 1.4-liter four with a six-speed automatic.
