Honda P-NUT

A micro-footprint 'Personal-Neo Urban Transport' with a McLaren F1-style center driving seat.

The P-NUT (Personal-Neo Urban Transport) was Honda's vision of an ultra-compact yet sophisticated city coupe, unveiled at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show. Its packaging placed the driver in a central position flanked by two staggered rear seats, delivering mid-size-sedan legroom within a micro-car footprint. A modular rear engine bay was designed to accept a small internal-combustion engine, a gasoline-electric hybrid, or a battery-electric powertrain, while the windshield doubled as a head-up display for navigation and the rear camera.
