First-series Diablo, re-engineered as an open-top V12 by Eccentrica
Eccentrica's second model: an open-top reinterpretation of the first-series (pre-facelift) Lamborghini Diablo, re-engineered with ex-Lamborghini CTO Maurizio Reggiani. The 5.7L naturally aspirated V12 is uprated from the factory's 485 hp to 550 hp at 7,000 rpm (443 lb-ft at 6,500 rpm) via a recalibrated ECU, improved thermal management and optimized airflow, driving through a close-ratio 6-speed gated manual. Over 3,500 bespoke components were made, the body rebuilt in steel-spaceframe-plus-carbon-fiber with a widened track and redesigned semi-active suspension geometry; dry weight 3,395 lb, 41/59 front/rear weight distribution. 0-60 mph in under 3.8s, top speed 208 mph. Limited to 19 units, each customer-configurable inside so no two are alike.
