MINI Rocketman Concept (2011)
Concept car · 2011 · Combustion

A carbon city car channelling the classic Mini's tiny footprint.
The Rocketman Concept, shown at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, revisited the original Mini's compact spirit with a 3.2-metre length and a bespoke carbon-fibre monocoque exposed between the wheels and doors. Its clever 3+1 seating, double-hinged wide-opening doors and a two-part 'drawer' tailgate maximised space. A Union Jack-inspired illuminated glass roof and a drivetrain targeting 94 mpg completed the package.
