MINI Superleggera Vision

A British roadster reborn in Italian coachwork and electric drive.

A collaboration between MINI and Milan coachbuilder Touring Superleggera, this open two-seater premiered at the 2014 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. It reinterpreted the classic British roadster with hand-formed aluminium bodywork shaped over frame structures, minimal flowing lines, and Union Jack motifs in the tail lights and door pulls. Uniquely, it hid an electric drivetrain with a rear-mounted motor beneath its retro skin.
