The fastback concept that previewed Nio's ET sedan line
Revealed at Auto Shanghai on April 17, 2019, the ET Preview foreshadowed Nio's ET series of electric sedans, most directly the later ET7. It was a dual-motor all-wheel-drive fastback with a full-glass panoramic roof, quoting more than 250 miles of range, Level 4 geofenced self-driving capability and Nio's three-minute battery-swap system. Design touches included adaptive matrix LED headlights said to mimic human eyes and rear lamps that pulse like a heartbeat, plus electromechanical door latches and the Nomi assistant.
