Boxy retro coupe shaped by young co-creators
Nissan showed the IDx at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show as two variants, the lifestyle-focused IDx Freeflow and the sporty IDx Nismo. The compact rear-drive coupes drew on the classic Datsun 510 and were developed using co-creation input from younger enthusiasts and gaming fans. The design never reached production.
