Nissan Pivo 2 Concept

A revolving electric pod with in-wheel motors and a robotic agent

The Pivo 2 evolved the original revolving-cabin idea with a 360-degree rotating three-seat body and four in-wheel 3D motors that could each steer up to 90 degrees, letting the car crab sideways as well as forwards. Powered by compact lithium-ion batteries and by-wire controls, it introduced a dashboard-mounted Robotic Agent that could converse in Japanese and English, monitor the driver's face and help with tasks such as finding parking.
