A zero-emission hydrogen fuel-cell SUV
The TeRRA was a compact 4x4 SUV concept powered by a hydrogen fuel-cell electric drivetrain, roughly the size of a Nissan Juke. A LEAF-derived electric propulsion system drove the front wheels while each rear wheel used an in-wheel motor derived from the Pivo concepts, giving all-wheel drive. Its compact fuel-cell stack claimed class-leading power density and drastically reduced use of precious metals versus Nissan's 2005 stack.
