The 'baby Corvette' that became Europe's first concept to reach production
Conceived as a rolling laboratory for testing chassis and engine components at Opel's Dudenhofen test track, the Experimental GT stunned the 1965 Frankfurt show with its Coke-bottle styling and pop-up headlamps. Its success with press and public led directly to the 1968 Opel GT - the first European concept car to enter series production.
