Porsche 963 RSP, silver road-legal one-off

A one-off, road-legal version of the 963 Le Mans hypercar built for Roger Penske.

Revealed in June 2025 near the Circuit de la Sarthe during Le Mans week, the 963 RSP is a unique, road-legal version of Porsche's 963 LMDh Le Mans prototype, commissioned for Roger S. Penske (his initials give the car its name). Reworked by Porsche's Sonderwunsch division, it keeps the racer's Multimatic chassis and hybrid V8 powertrain but adds a raised ride height, softened dampers, road tyres, headlights, indicators, a horn and a road-legal control unit. Finished in Martini Silver over a tan leather and Alcantara cabin, it echoes the silver 917 that Count Rossi drove on the road in 1975. It runs on French manufacturer plates under special permission rather than full homologation.
