Renault Espace F1

The minivan that borrowed a Formula 1 heart.

Built by Renault and Matra to mark ten years of the Espace, this carbon-fibre-bodied prototype dropped the 3.5-litre RS6 V10 from the 1993 Williams-Renault FW15C into the middle of a people carrier. Riding on a chromoly tubular race chassis with four carbon bucket seats and full harnesses, it paired minivan silhouette with genuine F1 fury and remains a museum-kept legend.
