Coupe, roadster, wagon and pickup in one shape-shifting body
The Saab 9-X, developed with Bertone, was a versatile concept that combined the traits of a coupe, roadster, wagon and pickup in a single body. Two roof glass panels could be removed and stowed, and a button-operated load space could extend by 200 mm. It used an all-aluminium 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 with four-wheel drive and a six-speed manual.
