Sony's seven-seat electric SUV that spawned a mobility company
At CES 2022 Sony revealed the Vision-S 02, a seven-seat electric SUV sharing its platform with the 2020 Vision-S sedan, and simultaneously announced the formation of Sony Mobility. Riding a higher roofline with 157 mm of ground clearance, it packs 40 sensors, a panoramic dashboard touchscreen, 360 Reality Audio, rear-seat displays and a 5G link that lets passengers stream games from PlayStation consoles. It set the direction for the Sony-Honda Afeela project.
