Drift car mid-corner with full smoke commitment at Suzuka Twin Circuit

Daigo Saito's proving ground.

A short circuit twenty kilometres south of the main Suzuka GP layout, the Twin name comes from its two interconnected courses. For drift, the East course is the one that matters: short, technical, walls close, a layout that rewards aggressive entry and punishes lazy line discipline.

Daigo Saito's reputation was built here. His 2008 D1 title campaign and the era-defining Suzuka Twin footage that followed cemented what modern competition drift could look like, JZX100 platform, ridiculous angle commitment, the corner-to-corner pace that everyone since has been trying to match.

For drift culture education Suzuka Twin is the seminar that follows Meihan. Same Kansai geography, different demand: where Meihan trains the technique, Suzuka Twin sets the ceiling.
