Jaguar's first sports crossover, and the launchpad for a new aluminium era
The C-X17 was Jaguar's first-ever crossover concept, conceived to showcase the company's all-new advanced aluminium monocoque architecture (codenamed iQ[Al]) that would underpin a range of future models. The four-seat design study previewed a mid-size premium SUV and directly foreshadowed the production Jaguar F-Pace, launched in 2016. It featured a configurable twin-dial TFT instrument console with provision for a head-up display.
