A turbine-electric supercar to mark Jaguar's 75th year.
The C-X75 debuted for Jaguar's 75th anniversary as a plug-in electric supercar with an unusual twist: its batteries could be recharged on the move by two diesel-fed micro gas turbines. Four wheel-mounted electric motors delivered a combined 780 bhp for a claimed 205-mph top speed and 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. A 19-kWh battery gave around 110 km of all-electric range, extended to some 900 km with the turbine range-extender running.
