The compact electric SUV concept that previewed the production EV5
Revealed on 20 March 2023 at Kia's EV Day event in China, the Concept EV5 was a boxy compact all-electric SUV positioned as the EV9's smaller sibling. Built on the E-GMP platform, it previewed the production EV5 that launched in China later that year with LFP battery packs and up to roughly 720 km CLTC range in long-range form.
