Kia Trail'ster concept (2015)

A trail-ready Soul with through-the-road electric all-wheel drive
Revealed at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, the Trail'ster was a rugged, higher-riding take on the Soul with a retractable cloth roof. A turbo 1.6-litre engine drove the front wheels while a 27 kW rear electric motor added electric all-wheel drive in a through-the-road hybrid layout, for a combined 220 hp and improved efficiency over the standard Soul.
