The Italdesign V10 concept that foreshadowed the Gallardo

The Calà was an Italdesign concept by Giorgetto Giugiaro shown at the 1995 Geneva Motor Show, intended as a smaller V10 Lamborghini to replace the Jalpa. It used a bespoke 4.0L V10 of around 400 bhp in a carbon-and-aluminium body. Though never produced, its 'baby Lambo' concept was realized years later in the 2003 Gallardo.
