'Gracious flow' - the second act of Mazda's Nagare design series

Unveiled at the 2007 Detroit auto show, the Ryuga (Japanese for 'gracious flow') was the second study in Mazda's Nagare design language, following the Nagare shown in Los Angeles. More resolved and production-relevant than its predecessor, the gull-winged 2+2 coupe carried flowing surface sculpting throughout its body and lounge-like interior. It used a 2.5-liter flex-fuel four-cylinder capable of running on E85, driving the front wheels through a six-speed automatic.
