Mercedes-AMG Vision AMG

AMG imagines its all-electric future as a low-slung performance sedan.

Revealed in May 2022, the Vision AMG previewed Affalterbach's first ground-up electric performance car, built on the dedicated AMG.EA architecture due from 2025. The 5.1-metre liftback wore an EV reinterpretation of AMG's Panamericana grille - a blanked, illuminated panel with vertical bars - and star-shaped headlamp graphics. Under the skin it showcased YASA-developed axial-flux motors, promising far higher power density than conventional e-motors and positioning the car as a future rival to the Porsche Taycan.
