The electric S-Class of the future, previewed in luminous form.
The Vision EQS was Mercedes-Benz's concept preview of a fully electric luxury flagship, shown at IAA Frankfurt in 2019 and foreshadowing the production EQS launched in 2021. Dual motors on both axles delivered all-wheel drive, fed by a roughly 100 kWh underfloor battery good for up to 700 km. Its 'sea of light' exterior with hundreds of LEDs, a wraparound digital dashboard and sustainable interior materials signalled a new design and technology direction.
