Mercedes-Benz Vision AVTR

An Avatar-inspired car that merges with its driver

A radical concept co-created with the makers of the film Avatar, imagining a deep bond between human, machine and nature. It rides on a graphene-based organic battery free of rare earths and metals, drives all four wheels for crab-walk sideways motion, and breathes through 33 bionic flaps on its rear deck. There is no steering wheel; a central control unit reads the driver.
