Peugeot Quasar

Peugeot's first in-house concept, a Group B supercar in disguise

The Quasar was Peugeot's first fully in-house design study, borrowing the turbocharged running gear of the 205 Turbo 16 Group B rally car and wrapping it in a science-fiction two-seater with a glass canopy and butterfly doors. A red digital cockpit and exposed rally-bred mechanicals made it one of the boldest French concepts of the decade.
