A mid-engined recycled-plastic roadster testing styling and materials
The Pronto Spyder was a two-seat roadster concept that served as a rolling test of styling and materials for Plymouth, though the brand's discontinuation kept it from production. Its lightweight body used recycled PET plastic over a steel chassis, and a mid-mounted turbocharged 2.4 L four made 225 hp through a five-speed manual. Its tortoise-shell steering rim later reappeared on the Chrysler 300C.
