An all-electric, monocoque reimagining of the Land Cruiser
Displayed at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show, the Land Cruiser Se is a battery-electric SUV concept that reimagines Toyota's off-road icon. Unusually for a Land Cruiser, it adopts a monocoque platform rather than a body-on-frame chassis, which Toyota says delivers responsive handling and confidence on rough terrain. The design is rounder and cleaner, with a flush front and connected LED lighting, and the seven-seat cabin benefits from the quietness of the electric powertrain, expected to use dual motors for all-wheel drive.
