Alfa's early take on a sporting SUV-MPV crossover
Project 921, the Kamal, was Alfa Romeo's crossover SUV concept exploring the SUV-MPV segment. It borrowed the 3.2-litre V6 from the 147 GTA, drove all four wheels through a Selespeed six-speed sequential gearbox with torque vectoring, and mixed clever packaging - side-hinged rear doors, an independently opening rear window and a 400-litre boot - with proper off-road ambitions.
