A 45-degree homage to the Pony Coupe, reimagined for autonomy
The 45 EV concept honored the 45-year-old Pony Coupe Concept, its name drawn from the 45-degree angles at nose and tail that form a diamond-shaped, monocoque-style silhouette inspired by 1920s aircraft. It reinterpreted the classic lattice grille as a 'kinetic cube lamp,' and its EV skateboard floor freed the cabin into a lounge-like space with rotating and lounge-chair seats plus a projection-beam infotainment interface. It laid the foundation for Hyundai's EV design era.
