The 'common thread' that launched Sensuous Sportiness
Le Fil Rouge, meaning 'the common thread,' introduced Hyundai's 'Sensuous Sportiness' design philosophy and connected the brand's past, present, and future design. The four-door coupe concept used golden-ratio proportions with a long wheelbase, short overhangs, and a teardrop roofline, an enhanced 'Cascading Grille' with parametric jewel detailing, and 'Light Architecture' and 'Tube Architecture' concepts to blend exterior and interior. It set the visual direction for the following generation of Hyundai production cars.
