The rear-drive four-door that gave rise to the Stinger
Unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show under design chiefs Peter Schreyer and Gregory Guillaume, the GT Concept was a rear-wheel-drive four-door sedan with pillarless coach (suicide) doors, conceived as a modern take on classic 1970s grand-touring proportions. It became the design basis for the Kia K9/K900 and, ultimately, the 2017 Kia Stinger.
