A turbocharged mini crossover hybrid with through-the-road AWD
Shown at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the Provo was a compact three-door crossover-styled hatchback with a turbo-hybrid drivetrain. A 1.6-litre turbo GDI drove the front wheels while a regenerative electric motor added rear-axle boost for simulated all-wheel drive, low-speed creep and short electric-only running, all through Kia's first seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
