Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss

No roof, no windscreen - a modern homage to the 300 SLR legend.

Unveiled at the 2009 Detroit show, the SLR Stirling Moss was a radical, roofless and windscreen-less speedster sendoff for the Mercedes-McLaren SLR program, named for the racing legend who won the 1955 Mille Miglia in a 300 SLR. Stripped of a top and screen and built largely from carbon fibre, it weighed roughly 200 kg less than the standard SLR. Just 75 were built, each priced above one million dollars and offered only to existing SLR owners.
