A buggy-style PHEV powered by a gas-turbine generator
A small, open buggy-type electrified SUV concept shown at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. Its standout feature was a new lightweight, compact plug-in hybrid drivetrain in which a gas-turbine engine-generator replaced the usual piston engine as the range extender, able to run on petrol, diesel, kerosene or alcohol. A Quad Motor 4WD system with front and rear Dual-Motor Active Yaw Control tied into Mitsubishi's S-AWC vehicle dynamics control.
