Autonomous Tesla Model S with a record 20+ seat positions
The XchangE turned an all-electric Tesla Model S into a study of autonomous-driving comfort. Using steer-by-wire, it could pilot itself up to 120 km/h while occupants read, worked, or watched films. The steering wheel could slide to the centre of the dash, and passengers could choose from more than twenty seating positions, a claimed world record. A 32-inch 4K rear monitor turned the cabin into an on-demand cinema.
