A one-off yacht on wheels, four years in the making
Commissioned in 2013 by a single connoisseur collector and hand-built over four years, the Sweptail is a bespoke two-seat coupe based on Phantom Coupe underpinnings. Its swept, tapering tail and vast panoramic glass roof draw directly on the client's love of classic Rolls-Royces and luxury yachts. Widely reported at around $13 million, it was hailed at debut as the most expensive new car ever built and marked the modern rebirth of Rolls-Royce coachbuilding.
