Toyota Camatte

A real, customizable car built for kids

Shown at the 2012 International Tokyo Toy Show, the Camatte is a small, driveable three-seat car designed to let parents and children share the joy of driving and customizing. Its highly modular construction allows removable body panels in different colours plus swappable lights, tyres and seats, presented in Sora and Daichi styles. A McLaren F1-style three-seat layout puts a child at the centre, with an adult in the rear able to assist steering and braking via adjustable pedals and seats. It is driven by an electric motor and lead-acid battery.
