Le Mans hybrid tech in a targa-topped GT
The matte-black GR HV Sports concept fused the environmental friendliness of an eco-car with sports-car thrills, taking styling cues from Toyota Gazoo Racing's TS050 Hybrid Le Mans prototype. It used the THS-R (Toyota Hybrid System-Racing) powertrain with the heavy battery mounted centrally for balance, plus a targa roof recalling the Sports 800 and Supra, and an automatic gearbox that mimics a 6-speed H-pattern manual.
