The retro-modern concept that revived the Camaro
Shown at the 2006 Detroit Auto Show, the Camaro Concept blended classic first-generation Camaro cues with modern proportions and was voted Best in Show by AutoWeek editors. Powered by a 6.0-liter LS2 V8 with Active Fuel Management and a six-speed manual, it rode on large staggered 21- and 22-inch wheels. The overwhelmingly positive reception led GM to green-light the production fifth-generation Camaro, which launched for 2010.
