Concept car · 1998 · Combustion

A 21st-century luxury sedan echoing 1950s Chrysler show cars
The Chronos was a large rear-drive luxury concept that revived the styling spirit of Virgil Exner's 1950s Chrysler d'Elegance dream cars, updated with a long wheelbase and huge wheels. It carried a 6.0 L OHC V10 built up from Chrysler's 4.7 L V8 architecture, producing around 350 hp. The opulent cabin featured wood, hand-sewn leather and an in-console humidor.
