A Viper-based grand tourer aimed at muscular luxury
Debuting at Detroit in 2005, the Firepower was a Chrysler-branded GT built on the Dodge Viper's chassis but softened into a refined boulevard coupe. Rather than the Viper's V10, it used the 6.1 L HEMI V8 from the SRT8 line. Chrysler seriously considered production as a Corvette rival before shelving it. It could reach 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and 174 mph.
