Ford FX-Atmos concept (1954)

Jet-age fantasy with fins, a bubble canopy and no engine
The FX-Atmos was a pure styling exercise embodying the atomic-age fascination with jet aircraft. Its glassfibre body featured a clear bubble canopy over a three-seat cabin with the driver centered, dual handgrips instead of a wheel, and a dashboard screen imagined for radar-fed highway data. Rocket taillights and dramatic tail fins completed the look; it was a non-running pushmobile.
