John Baldessari's picture-of-a-car painted onto an M6 GTLM.
American conceptual artist John Baldessari applied his deadpan visual wit to a BMW M6 GTLM racer, printing a picture of a car onto the car, adding the word FAST, a large red dot and dabs of primary colour. He asked what a car is, and answered by making an image about an image. The car raced at the 2017 Rolex 24 at Daytona.
