The secretive bespoke commission that became the Solus GT.

The BC-03 ('Bespoke Commission 03') was a confidential McLaren Special Operations (MSO) project that first surfaced in 2019 through leaked prototype images. It was a road-focused design study that drew directly on the 2017 Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo concept, sharing its dorsal fin, central-seat layout and extreme aero, and it became the development prototype that ultimately evolved into the production McLaren Solus GT, the track-only single-seater revealed in 2022. Reports of the time linked it to a hybrid powertrain of over 1,000 hp, though the finished Solus GT would instead adopt a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10.
